The offense scored four times during Tuesday night's Blue-Gold scrimmage at Northeastern A&M.
“We really had a good spring,” Golden Norse head coach Rob Green said. “We've got a lot of guys coming back, so we've got a really good nucleus. Offensively, we've got about 10 starters coming back who are pretty good players and there are five or six back on defense.
“We have some spots we're going to need to fill in with freshmen.”
Bo Bowling, who was NEO's starting quarterback the last four games of the 2006 season, teamed with wide receiver Kevin Radford for the first score.
Former Miami Wardog Kaelin Woods hooked up with Curtis Tucker on a touchdown, then Bowling scrambled for a 43-yard TD.
NEO's final score came on a reverse pass from Ryan Gonzales to Tucker.
