Playland Lanes and the Miami D.A.R.E. program are partnering together for the fourth annual summer D.A.R.E. bowling program.
Every student 12 and under will receive a summer bowling pass that is good through Aug 15.
Each student can receive up to two free games along with free shoe rental each and every day. The summer bowling passes are good from noon until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday as long as lanes are available.
Any student that did not receive their summer D.A.R.E. card at school can contact Ken Brodrick at the Miami D.A.R.E. program or Darrell Harp at Playland Lanes.
Playland Lanes and the D.A.R.E. program will be distributing more than 2,000 summer D.A.R.E. passes with a retail value worth more than $1,600,000.
Playland Lanes Family Fun Bowling Center recognizes that the youth of this community and surrounding area do not have a lot of activities to do in the summer.
“This is a way Playland Lanes can give back to the community and help the kids in a safe, fun, smoke and drug free environment as part of a summer activity that gives them something to do and someplace to go,” Harp said.
