COMMERCE — Twelve games will be played in Commerce during the Premier Baseball incoming freshmen tournament which will played July 7-11.

In addition to Mickey Mantle Field, games will be played at the Joplin (Mo.) Athletic Complex and Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Seneca, Mo., and the Field of Dreams in Baxter Springs, Kan.

Just who will be playing in Commerce — or at the other sites — won’t be determined until July 6, when pairings are released at the opening ceremony.

There will be four four-team pools and a fifth pool that currently has only three teams.

Games at Commerce are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m. on July 7; at 9:30 a.m. and noon on July 8; at 9:30 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m. on July 9 and at 9:30 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m. on July 10.

A final six games, including the championship game, will be July 11.

Teams from Pools 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be playing at Mantle Field.

Games also will be played at Mantle Field in the Premier Baseball Juniors World Series, July 21-25.
