BARTLESVILLE - The Miami Tribe defeated the Blue Dragons of Bartlesville 10-2 in a U-12 boys soccer match at the Adams Lake Soccer Pitch.

Josh Williams started the scoring in the seventh minute. Josh Coombes put the score at 2-0 just four minutes later, then Scott Garrett made it 3-0 before the hosts answered back to close the gap to 3-1.

Coombes scored two more times for a hat trick. His third goal was set up by a cross from the left wing by Devin Stevenson. Miami led 5-1 at intermission.

Garrett Brede outran everyone on a breakaway to open the second-half scoring. Keishawn Plumb made it 7-1.

After the hosts scored their second goal, Kaid Karnes the final three goals for the Tribe.

His first game off a pass from forward Dusty McBride and the next two were solo efforts. Karnes' third tally came from 30 yards out near the left sideline.

The Tribe hosts Skiatook at noon Saturday at the Sam Wells Soccer Complex.
