WYANDOTTE - Oktaha rolled to a 7-2 victory over Wyandotte in a fast-pitch softball game here Tuesday.
"They are good," Wyandotte coach John Leppla said. "We did a lot better, but still had those errors (three total)."
The Lady Tigers, who were runners-up in Class 2A last season, scored four times in the third inning, then added another three in the top of the seventh.
Wyandotte didn't break through until the seventh, when it got both of its runs.
"Their pitcher threw really well," Leppla said, noting that the Lady Bears finished with four hits.
Losing pitcher Taryn Gray had two hits and an RBI. Ashlee Waybright doubled and Rachel Anderson added a single.
Haylee Floyd drove in a run with a ground ball.
Oktaha had eight hits in the game.
Wyandotte competes in the Jay Festival on Friday then travels to Kellyville for another festival on Saturday.
