The 11- and 12-year-old Cardinals posted their third win of the season Tuesday night with an 18-1 victory over the Pirates.

“The offense really came alive tonight, scoring 18 runs with all nine of the Cardinals getting at least one hit,” coach Jerry Allen said.

Nathan Sajulga had three singles while Nick Allen and Alec Hayward had two doubles and a single each. Hayden Woods had a triple and a single. Taylor Witham had a double and single. Gunner Morgan, Brady Reynolds, Daniel Birdsong and Chanley McClintic each had a single.

Hayward struck out five while getting the win.

The Cardinals face the Yankees at 5:45 p.m. today.
