MUSKOGEE - Unable to generate any offense in the second half, Northeastern A&M's Lady Norse dropped a 2-1 soccer match Tuesday morning to the Bacone College Lady Warriors.

“Playing at 9 a.m., we couldn't get any consistency going on offense,” Lady Norse head coach Lisa Bell said. “We showed up the first 15 minutes and then just lost our concentration.”

NEO's only goal was by former Lady Wardog midfielder Jamie Hinds at the 48 minute mark of the first half.

Consecutive goals by Emily Burks and Jen Sampson rallied the Lady Warriors to a 2-1 lead at halftime.

“We played better in the second half,” Bell said. “But, we had several scoring opportunities that we just didn't cash in on. We didn't finish well.”

The Lady Norse conclude their first regular season Friday with a 1 p.m. rematch at Hutchinson, Kan.

The Lady Dragons lead the Kansas Jayhawk Conference with a 15-1 record, which includes a 6-0 shutout over NEO on Sept. 22 in Miami.
