Spring break became just that – a week long break – after persistent rain wiped out virtually everything that was on the schedule.

The schedule for the first day includes Commerce vs. Fairland, noon; Welch vs. Quapaw, 2 p.m.; Commerce-Fairland loser vs. Afton, 6 p.m., and Welch-Quapaw loser vs. Wyandotte, 8 p.m.
Play continues through Friday.
Also on Monday, Miami is scheduled to play at Grove in a Verdigris Valley Conference baseball game and Wyandotte hosts Fairland and Colcord in a slow-pitch softball festival.
