Playing their final home match of the regular season, Northeastern A&M's Lady Norse host Hesston (Kan.) College today at 2 p.m. on the NEO Pitch.

Coach Lisa Bell's Lady Norse (4-9-1) dropped a hard-fought 4-1 match to the Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa Lady Mavericks Saturday in Miami.

“Our girls played hard the entire match,” Bell said. “They never gave in and kept the ball moving all afternoon.”

NEO's lone goal came at the 21:43 juncture of the first half on a passing shot by Bixby forward Hannah Snyder.

After trailing to 2-1 at halftime, the Lady Norse surrendered goals to forwards Laura Greuel and Taylor Dufek to create the final score.

The Lady Norse travel to Muskogee Tuesday for a 9 a.m. match with Bacone College then visit Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College on Oct. 24 to end the season.
