Registration for the Miami Youth Football League will resume July 9-13 at the Miami Civic Center.
Additional signup periods will occur July 16, 17 and 23-27 at the Civic Center. The signups will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening.
Players from kindergarten to the sixth grade are invited to participate in league games, according to coordinator Zach Turner.
Participation fee for players in the tackle league, that includes third through the sixth grade, is $125.
Teams in the tackle league will compete in the Indian Nation Football Conference which is comprised of several teams around Oklahoma.
Cost for the flag football league, for players in kindergarten through second grade, is $35.
“The flag football league will play during the week,” Turner said. “Included in the registration fee is a jersey for each player.”
For the parents with multiple children playing in the tackle league, the cost is $125 for the first child and $50 for each child after that.
If parents have one child in each league, the cost remains $125 for tackle and $35 for flag.

In an attempt to help defray the cost of providing equipment, a $100 raffle will be held during the first home football game.
“We hope that by having the kids sell raffle tickets, we can reduce the entry fee,” Turner said. “At signups we'll have zip lock bags containing 50 tickets each. We encourage parents to take up to three bags to off-set their entry fee.
“Not only will sale of tickets help cut the entry fee cost, but at the end of the season members of the tackle league will get to keep their jerseys which is a $50 investment.”
The raffle ticket money will be due July 30, the first day of practice.
A team camp will be held July 20-21 on the football practice field located behind Miami High School.
Teams in the third and fourth grade will attend camp from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. both days while teams in the fifth and sixth grades will practice from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
