The Miami Tribe chalked up a pair of wins on the road Saturday, beating Bartlesville Real 5-0 and then Team Taylor of Owasso 2-0.

The Tribe erupted for three goals in the first half on their way to an easy win in the morning at the Adams Lake Soccer Pitch in Bartlesville.

Devin Stevenson opened the scoring for the Tribe and added another after a blast from Kaid Karnes for a 3-0 halftime lead.

Joshua Williams and Keishawn Plumb tallied goals in the second half for the Tribe.

Goalies Truman Satterwhite and Anthony “Stone” Roberts preserved the shutout.

Miami then traveled to Owasso for a 2 p.m. make-up game with Team Taylor.

Stevenson found the back of the net in the first half and Karnes added insurance after some good ball movement.

Satterwhite and reserve keeper Josh Coombes were limited in their touches of the ball due to the play of fullbacks Daniel Birdsong and Lucas Freeman, stopper Scott Garrett, Plumb and Joel Watt.

“At one time, we outshot them 10-1 due to the play of the midfield combo of Williams and center Ryan Amiott opening up the left side threat of Karnes, Stevenson and Plumb,” coach Ben Wells said.

The Tribe hosts Team Taylor Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Sam Wells Soccer Complex.
