Three district qualifiers have to be determined by Tuesday before the 16-team field can be announced for the Women's Division I National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament scheduled for March 20-24 in the Bicentennial Center at Salina, Kan.

"We're taking a couple of days off to get a little of our stamina back," Northeastern A&M Lady Norse head coach Jim Rowland said. "We expect to know by Wednesday afternoon who'll we play in the first round."

Rowland is guiding the 23-9 Lady Norse to their second appearance in the "Big Dance" during his seven-year tenure as head coach.

The Lady Norse won the District B/Region II Tournament Sunday with a 58-57 overtime victory over fifth ranked Northern Oklahoma College-Enid at Oklahoma Baptist University's Noble Complex in Shawnee.

The Lady Norse have appeared in seven previous NJCAA National Tournaments. Rowland directed the Lady Norse to a seventh place finish in 2006-07 with a 25-8 record.

Championships in District D which pits Region 4 winner (Malcom X. College, Ill., 16-14) against Region 13 winner (Williston State College, N.D., 21-8); District F (Independence, Kan. 27-5 versus Hutchinson, Kan. 33-0), and District I (Region 9 winner-Casper, Wyo. 30-2 North Division winner versus Oterio, Colo., 30-1 Southern Division) will be determined by Tuesday night.
