BLUEJACKET — Wyandotte swept a pair of Lucky Seven Conference games from Bluejacket here Tuesday night.
The Wyandotte boys downed the Chieftains 56-44 to stay tied with Welch atop the conference standings.
Wyandotte’s girls downed the Lady Chieftains 70-36 in their matchup.
The Bears led by 11 (28-17) at the break before outscoring the Chieftains 28-9 in the third quarter to open up some breathing room.
Zach Butterfield led the Bears with 15 points. Dakota Sparks added 10 points and Michael Scribner had eight points.
Dalton Pogue chipped in six points and Jacob Lux, Derek Durborow, and Nathan Taylor all added four points apiece.
D.J. Burleson also had three points and Haydn Neese scored one.
Butterfield hit three 3-pointers and Sparks and Pogue both hit a pair of 3s in the game for the Bears.
Skylar Humble led the Bluejacket offense with 18 points. Josh Williams and David Prine each added seven points and Josh Woodall scored four.
Walter Peerson chipped in three points and Noah Ayres had two. Charlie Reeves also scored one point.
Kirsten Leppla led the Lady Bears offensively with 16 points. Felicia Stone added 12 points and Kristen Enyart had eight points.
Jennifer McLoud and Morgan Compton both scored six points apiece and Jess Staggs had six. Kayla Oleman chipped in four points and Mykah Meador and Peytience Logan both added two points apiece.
Cheyanne Hall led the Bluejacket offense with 14 points. Lauren Ayres added 10 points and Sarah McHone scored six.
Sam Brigstock chipped in five points and Shyla McGlasson and Jimicia Wells both added two points apiece.
