FAIRLAND — A 15-4 advantage that spanned the third and fourth quarters helped the Wyandotte girls claim a 54-42 victory over Fairland here Friday night.

The Lady Bears, up 39-18 early in the third quarter, saw Fairland use an 11-0 run to cut the margin to 39-29 with 2:52 left in the third quarter.

But Wyandotte outscored the hosts 6-1 the rest of the third frame, then used a 9-3 edge in the first 3:24 of the fourth to take charge.

Alex Lyons had 14 points and Kayla Oleman added 13 for the Lady Bears, who also got nine from Kristen Enyart and eight from Kristen Leppla.

Suezann Pascoe had 18 points for the Lady Owls. Ashlee Davis chipped in with nine.

The Lady Bears host Bluejacket while Fairland entertains Ketchum on Tuesday.
