Several openings remain for four separate football camps and clinics scheduled to start Monday, June 1 on the campus of Northeastern A&M.

Hosted by the Golden Norseman football coaching staff and first-year head coach Don Bigby, an 11-man overnight camp will start at noon on June 1 and conclude at noon on June 3.

“So far we’ve got seven teams entered in the first team camp,” Bigby said. “We would like to have between eight and 10 teams participate.”

An eight-man team camp will be held June 8-10 on Robertson Field and the practice field area.

“We’ve had a real good response because coach (defensive line coach Stacie) Satterwhite has worked real hard to attract teams,” Bigby said. “Right now we’re expecting between 12 and 14 teams.”

Any junior high or high school player interested in learning fundamental techniques are invited to participate in an offensive lineman clinic on June 13. Cost is $25 per player.

“This should be a good clinic because I’ll be working with both younger and older players,” Bigby said. “We’ve got about 14 players already signed up, but we would like to have at least 30 to work with.”

A new feature offered by the Golden Norsemen will be a 7-on-7 high school team tournament on June 20. Cost is $100 per team.

Anyone wanting further information should contact Bigby at 918-540-6310 or 918-540-6174.
