WHITE OAK — A 21-6 burst in the second quarter helped Bartlesville Wesleyan Christian roll to a 63-27 victory over Bluejacket in a Class B Area III District 2 game here Thursday night.

White Oak held off Wynona for a 51-37 victory in the second game.

The schedule for today pits Wesleyan against Wynona at 6:30 p.m. and Bluejacket meets White Oak at 8 p.m. in boys’ action.

Wesleyan Christian and White Oak play Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the girls’ championship game. The boys’ final will be at 8 p.m.

The Wesleyan girls led only 8-7 after the first quarter of Thursday’s game with Bluejacket.

Wesleyan then went on to outscore the Lady Chieftains (0-16) by 21-6, 15-10 and 19-4 margins the rest of the way.

Lauren Ayres had 14 points for Bluejacket.
