The U14 Fusion came from behind for a 3-2 victory over the Pryor Black Knights after Pryor converted off a first-half corner kick.

Jose Covarrubias tied the score at 1-1.

Anthony Lawson had the assist.

Pryor went up 2-1 midway through the second half.

Center back Trenton Barr hooked up with Covarrubias on two over-the-top passes to complete the comeback and hat trick for Covarrubias.

The Fusion hosts the Revolution of Bartlesville at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sam Wells Soccer Complex.

Barr joins six other new faces on the Fusion roster, which includes 11 players from Commerce, five from Miami and one from Vinita.

"I was pleased with the effort and poise of the team today," Fusion coach Ben Wells said. "This is just the first step in a long journey."

The Fusion's 10-week season concludes with a tournament at Tulsa Union.

"I like the room for improvement and the thirst they have to learn," Wells said.
