TAHLEQUAH ó Logan Cawyer, a junior from Commerce, received Lone Star Conference North Division all-conference honorable mention recognition at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah.

Cawyer also made the Deanís Honor Roll for the fall 2009 term.

A health and physical education major, Cawyer played tight end for the Riverhawks this past season.

He started 10 of the 11 games he appeared in, catching four passes for 67 yards.†

Cawyer, a health and physical education major, transferred to NSU after two years at the University of Tulsa.

He was a part of two Conference USA Western Division championship squads at TU and made trips to the 2007 GMAC Bowl and 2006 Armed Forces Bowl.† After a redshirt season as a freshman, he played in all 14 games in 2007 and appeared in just two games in 2008.†

While at Commerce High School, Cawyer was a four-time all-district selection. He was the districtís newcomer of the year as a freshman, defensive player of the year as a junior and senior and was an all-state selection as a senior.
