WYANDOTTE - Scoring in double figures each game, Wyandotte rolled to a pair of wins in a slow-pitch softball festival here Monday.

The Lady Bears rallied for a 16-6 win over Fairland then routed Colcord 21-10.

Fairland squeezed out a 4-3 win against Colcord.

Fairland took a 6-5 lead in the third inning against the Lady Bears.

However, Wyandotte put together back-to-back five run rallies in the fourth and fifth frames, then got a run in its final at-bat.

Courtney Leppla had four singles to head up the Lady Bear attack.

Winning pitcher Rachel Anderson helped herself with a home run, double and single.

Mykah Meador, Ashley Waybright and Morgan Weisinger had a double and single each with Laura Brown and Breanne Yeager each getting two singles.

Allison Douthit, Taryn Gray, Arielle Stovall and Chelsea McGowen had a single each.

The Lady Owls got a double and two singles from Whitney Dushane and three singles from Ashlee Davis.

Lauren McCabe, Katie Martin, Mykaela Ziebert and Cori McCorkell had a single each.

Wyandotte 21, Colcord 10

The Lady Bears led only 8-7 after two innings.

They erupted for five runs in the third to take a 13-10 advantage, then broke the game open with an eight-run rally in the fourth.

Anderson collected two home runs and two singles while Meador and Douthit each had a homer, double and single.

Waybright added a homer and two singles.

Stovall and Leppla each contributed three singles with Brown and Gray getting two singles each for the Lady Bears

Young and Weisinger each had a single.

Wyandotte hosts Jay and Fairland entertains Welch on Tuesday.
