WYANDOTTE - Rachel Anderson collected another four hits as Wyandotte chalked up a 10-4 victory over Jay here Tuesday in a high school slow-pitch softball game.

The win bumped the Lady Bears' record to 6-2 on the season.

They're idle until Thursday, when they face either Welch or Oaks at 10:15 a.m. in the Locust Grove Tournament.

Welch and Oaks play at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Anderson, who picked up the win for the Lady Bears in the circle, had a home run, double and two singles.

Jay broke out to a 3-0 lead by scoring single runs in the first three innings.

Wyandotte tied the game in the bottom of the third then scored four times in the fourth.

The Lady Bears made it 8-3 in the fifth only to have Jay score its final run in the top of the sixth.

Wyandotte created the final margin with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Taryn Gray had three singles. Mykah Meador collected a double and single while Allison Douthit and Morgan Weisinger contributed a double and single each.

Ashlee Waybright, Kourtney Leppla, Laura Brown and Chelsey McGowen each had two singles.
