COLCORD — The tandem of Raven Difrancisco and Blake Gonzales accounted for five touchdowns to lead Colcord to a 58-14 win over Afton here Friday, Oct. 5.

The loss was the fifth straight for the Eagles, who slip to 0-3 in District A-6.

Gonzales, a junior running back, had 135 yards and scoring runs of 6, 7 and 56 yards.

He also caught a 56-yard TD reception.

Difrancisco, who was 9 of 15 passing for 156 yards, also teamed with Aidan Parker on a 28-yard touchdown.

Colcord, which led 22-0 at the half, scored on eight of its 13 possessions. One drive ended with a fumble.

Both of Afton’s touchdowns came in the third quarter and cut the deficit to 28-14.

Fuser capped an eight-play drive with a 1-yard run at 3:44. He also ran the conversion.

On the very next series, Cole Mikesell reeled in a 50-yard TD pass from Fuser. A run for the conversion was stopped.

Afton had 235 yards in total offense, 106 rushing and 129 passing.

Fuser completed 13 of 24 passes for 157 yards.

Fuser had 81 yards on 12 tries.
