Quapaw and Wyandotte will be on the road for Class 2A fast pitch regional tournaments that begin Thursday, Sept. 27.
Quapaw has been assigned to Regional 6 at Silo with Savanna and Haskell.
Wyandotte, Mounds and Coalgate are in the 2A Regional 7 at Howe.
Silo faces Savanna at noon and Quapaw meets Haskell at 2 p.m. in first-round games.
The two losers play at 4 p.m. while the first-round winners square off at 6 p.m.
An elimination game will be at noon Friday, Sept. 28 with the first championship game at 2 p.m.
An “if necessary” game will follow at 4 p.m.
The format at Howe will be identical, but with the hosts meeting Coalgate at noon and the Lady Bears squaring off against Mounds at 2 p.m.
Other 2A regionals will be at Dale, Mangum, Pawnee, Minco, Drumright and Hulbert.
Wyandotte placed second in District 2A-8 with an 11-3 record. The Lady Bears are 21-9 overall.
Quapaw (18-11) wound up third in 2A-8 by posting a 9-5 record.
Silo (26-4) was the winner of District 2A-6 with a 13-1 record.
Savanna (12-16) qualified as the fourth-place team in 2A-7 with a 6-8 record.
Haskell (19-12) was the runner-up in 2A-5 at 10-4.
Howe (26-10) went 14-0 while winning District 2A-7
Coalgate (18-15) qualified fourth in 2A-6 at 8-6.
Mounds (18-11) placed third in 2A-5 at 9-5.
Regional winners advance to the state tournament Oct. 4-6 at the Ballfields at Firelake in Shawnee.
