INDEPENDENCE, Kan. — Northeastern A&M warmed up for a busy weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Independence Community College here Thursday, Sept. 20.

The Lady Norse won by 25-20, 25-17 and 25-18 scores.

NEO had 27 kills, eight errors and 87 attempts while registering 36 digs in the match.

Thalianette Garcia, a sophomore outside hitter from Naguabo, Puerto Rico, had eight kills and eight digs.

Houston sophomore Adna De Andrade had nine kills and two digs while and Jenks freshman Ealey Eslick turned in four kills and a team-high 10 assists.

The Lady Norse have four matches this week in the Kansas City (Kansas) Community College tournament.

They face Cowley Community College at 3 p.m. and Iowa Lakes at 7 p.m. Friday then Division II No. 1 Coffeyville at 10 a.m. and Neosho County at noon on Saturday.
