TULSA — Miami, Commerce and Quapaw will be competing at the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association state cheerleading championships Saturday at the Mabee Center in Tulsa.
Miami will compete in Class 4A while Commerce is in 3A and Quapaw 2A.
Joining MHS in the 4A competition will be Purcell, Sallisaw, Stigler, Plainview, Inola, Weatherford, Oklahoma City Heritage Hall, Hilldale, Tuttle, Westville, Beggs and Kingfisher.
The 3A field includes Commerce, Holdenville, Eufaula, Vian, Christian Heritage, Okemah, Tulsa Lincoln Christian, Washington, Kellyville, Community Christian, Crossings Christian, Perry and Jones.
Qualifiers in 2A in addition to Quapaw are Cashion, Hinton, Wewoka, Keota, Elmore City-Pernell, Warner, Ketchum, Quinton, Velma-Alma, Hooker and Allen.
Quapaw performs at 11:18 a.m., Commerce at 11:57 a.m. and Miami at 1:42 p.m.
