COLCORD — Gracie Turner blanked Oaks on only three singles as Wyandotte rolled to an 11-0 fast pitch softball win here Tuesday, Aug. 21.

The Lady Bears also claimed a 6-2 District 2A-8 win against Colcord.

Wyandotte improved to 5-0 in the district and 11-2 overall.

Wyandotte 11, Oaks 0

The Lady Bears got six runs in the first inning then tacked on one in the second three in the third and got a final tally in the fourth.

Five players had two hits in the game: Makinze Powell, a double and triple; Tarrah Stephens, a triple and single; Jennelle Lundien, two doubles, and Haley Hart and Ally Bartley, two singles each.

Karsyn Severs and Jillian Swanger each added a triple.

Wyandotte 6, Colcord 2

The Lady Bears did all their damage in the first three innings.

They scored four in the first and added a final two in the third.

Powell collected a double and single and Turner added two singles for WHS.

Hart tripled, Kaitlyn Hawkins doubled and Lundien and Bartley each had a base hit.
