MANNFORD — Miami and Mannford traded off 11-0 thrashings here Thursday, April 26 in their Class 4A Bi-district xx playoff.

The teams battle in the “if” game at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 27.

Miami 11, Mannford 0

Hunter Hartman struck out six and walked none while limiting the Pirates to three hits.

He also helped himself at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double.

Conner Womack, Drew Williams and Brad Hartman all had a double and single while Brant Morris collected two singles.

Clay McCormick chipped in with a base hit.

The Wardogs grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning then took charge by scoring five times in the third.

They added two runs in the fifth and ended the game by scoring three times in the sixth.

Aaron Wolcott had two singles and Braden Greene added one for Mannford.

Mannford 11, Miami 0

The Pirates’ Bryson Postoak turned the tables by fanning eight, walking one and allowing only four hits.

Hunter Hartman had two singles and Morris and Grant Nolte each had a base hit.

A four-run first got things rolling for Mannford.

It came up with another two in the second and was up 7-0 through three frames.

The Pirates picked up a final four runs in the fifth.
