COMMERCE — Ryan Dunbar hit his first career home run to lead Class 2A No. 17 Commerce to a 12-4 baseball win over Bluejacket here Tuesday, April 17.

Dunbar has a two-run shot that keyed a six-run fourth inning for the Tigers.

They led 2-0 after two then used the six-run fourth to seemingly take charge.

Bluejacket cut the deficit in half in the fifth, leaving runners stranded at second and third.

The Tigers generated a final four runs in the sixth.

The game ended with one out in sixth when Caden Pickard scored on a passed ball.

Pickard finished with two singles and Lance Hyatt added a base hit.

Gabe Satterwhite collected a double and single for the Chieftains.

Keegan Francis’ triple in the fifth drove in Bluejacket’s first run.

James Walters also had a single.

Commerce (16-6) faces Porter and Chelsea Thursday, April 18, in a festival at Chelsea then travels to Quapaw on Friday, April 20.

Bluejacket plays Welch and Shidler in the Class B District 20 tournament Thursday.
