COMMERCE — Commerce split District 4A-8 matches with Tulsa Webster here Tuesday, April 17.

The Lady Tigers breezed to a 4-0 victory while the boys dropped a 4-1 decision.

Jose Covarrubias had the only goal for the Commerce boys, who trailed 3-1 at the half.

The Tigers now are 5-5, 3-3 (fifth) in District 4A-8 play.

They have only one match remaining on the schedule, traveling to Claremore Sequoyah on Friday, April 20.

Grove is in fourth in the district at 3-2.

The Ridgerunners still have games against Langston Hughes (Friday) and Webster (Monday, April 23).

Grove owns a 4-2 win over CHS on March 15.

Commerce 4, Webster 0

Ashley Wells got credit for the shutout, the first of the season for the Lady Tigers.

Alexa Carrillo, Madi Wells, Ashley Barton and Rhyane Hallett had goals for Commerce (3-9, 2-6).
