MIAMI — Hilldale took the team title and two Lady Hornets finished 1-2 in the individual competition Wednesday, April 4 at Peoria Ridge Golf Course.
Hilldale coasted to the team title with a 323.
Grove was a distant second at 362, followed by Fort Gibson and Wagoner, 415; Pryor, 437; Catoosa 453; Miami 467; Claremore, 496, and Nowata, 508.
Kassie Kirkhart won a playoff against teammate Jordan Clayborn for first individually. Both carded 75s.
Keirsten Riggs of Grove was third at 80 and Hannah Jacks of Claremore Sequoyah posted an 86.
Rounding out the top individuals were Tabi Morrow, Grove, 91; Maci Jones, Hilldale, 94, and Rachel Psomas, Fort Gibson, 95.
Kieley Hallett had the Lady Wardogs’ low score at 106.
Maddie Arnold was right behind at 107 and Cali Mercer turned in a 120.
Macy Edwards was the fourth member of the MHS team. She carded a 134.
The Lady Wardogs play in a tournament hosted by Grove at Patricia Island on April 10.
