OPLIN, Mo. - Ranked No. 6 in the nation in Division I, the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Lady Norse softball team faces Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Falls, Iowa, at 10 a.m., Friday, March 9 in the opening round of the annual Crowder College Bash at Joplin.

Prior to a double-header with Indian Hills, Iowa, Thursday in Miami, the Lady Norse are 10-2 on the season.

Kirkwood enters the tournament with a 9-1 record. The Eagles defeated Southeast Iowa 18-1 Sunday, March 4 in Concordia, Kansas.

The Lady Norse face Jefferson College (9-3) of Hillsboro, Missouri, at 2 p.m. Friday in the second round.

In their final game of the first day, NEO will face Three Rivers College (6-0) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at 4 p.m.

Final round action for the Lady Norse starts at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 10, against Southeastern Iowa (6-2) of West Burlington, Iowa.

NEO squares off against Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College (10-2) at noon Saturday.

The Lady Norse play Mineral Area College (1-3) of Park Hills, Missouri, at 2 p.m. Saturday in the final game.
