OWASSO — A pair of late goals helped Rejoice Christian School squeeze out a 2-0 non-district soccer win over Miami here Tuesday, March 6.

This was the second straight shutout loss for the Wardogs.

“We played great other than the last third,” Miami coach David Douthit said.

The match was scoreless at the half.

Zach Larkin and William Brown had the goals for Rejoice.

Larkin had signed to play at Ouachita Baptist on Feb. 7.

“Both of their goals were on scrambles in front of our goal,” Douthit said.

Nate Anders earned the shutout for the Eagles, who had logged a 2-1 win over Bristow in their opener.

“Once we start scoring, we will be dangerous,” Douthit said.
