KETCHUM — Three players scored in double figures as the Class 2A No. Ketchum boys coasted to a 66-47 victory over Bluejacket here Tuesday, Jan. 23.

The Warriors (13-3) jumped out to a 14-13 lead in the opening frame and pulled away.

It was 31-24 at intermission and 44-35 heading into the fourth.

Hunter Chandler scored 19 for Ketchum, which also got 13 from Jayden Martin and 12 from Tyler Goins.

The Chieftains (11-6) also had three reach double digits: Coy McGlasson with 13 and Justin Pape and Jonathan Estes with 11 each.

Ryder Blackfox and Gabe Satterwhite had six and four, respectively.

Girls: Ketchum 58, Bluejacket 27

A 20-2 explosion in the third quarter helped Ketchum turn a 20-19 halftime deficit into a 39-22 lead heading into the final stanza.

That’s when the Lady Warriors held a 19-5 advantage over the last eight minutes.

Laura Collins and Lydia Pipins were Bluejacket’s leaders with six points.

Lea Hency had four points while Dee Dee Satterwhite and Abby Brewster scored three each followed by Shelbie Baker and Tiffany Ayres contributed two each. Lexi Winfrey chipped in with a free throw.

Maggi Brown scored 16 and Star West had 11 for the Lady Warriors.
