MIAMI — Three local teams are among those registered for the inaugural United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) 4-States Slammer, a girls fast-pitch softball tournament slated Saturday, Oct. 14, and Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Booth Sports Complex.

The Attack of Commerce and NEO Thunder of Miami will be in the 14 & Under division while the Fairland Force will be competing in the 10 & Under bracket.

Joining the Force in the 10 & Under Open division are Elite Heat 10U of Neosho, Missouri, MVP Athletics of Joplin, JOMO Wild Things 07 and JOMO Wild Things 08 of Joplin, SWMO Chaos of Carl Junction, Missouri, and SWMO Jammers of Seneca.

Teams in the 12 & Under Open division are Lady Bombers Stilwell, Midwest Diamond Divas, Missouri Crush 12U and JOMO Wild Things 12U, all of Joplin; Midwest Thunderstix of Neosho, Missouri; Blue Steal of Edna, Kansas; Bomb Squad of Seneca and Kansas Thunder of Pittsburg, Kansas.

Additional teams in the 14 & Under Open division are Oklahoma Prospects 03 and Team Believe 04, both of Tulsa; Bullpen Psychos 14U of Monett, Missouri; EN Storm of Granby, Missouri; Midwest Thunderstix of Neosho, Missouri Crush 14U of Joplin, OK Naturals of Jay, SWMO Rage of Webb City, Missouri; NWA Legends 05 of Gravette, Arkansas; Sister of Softball of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Columbus Diamondbacks of Columbus, Kansas.
