Miami sits atop the fourth- and sixth-grade North Conference standings in the Green Country Youth Football.
The sixth grade Wardogs are 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
They’ve picked up the max 36 marginal points. The most a team can get is 18 in a game.
Miami has held both of its opponents scoreless.
Grove and Vinita share second with 1-1 conference and overall records while Jay is 0-2.
In the South Conference, South Delaware County and Tahlequah are 2-0 overall and in the conference while Westville and Locust Grove are both winless in two games.
The Miami fourth graders share the North Conference lead with Jay. Both are 2-0.
Miami has 35 marginal points while Jay has 30. Neither has allowed a point.
Grove, Vinita and Adair are both 0-2. Both of Vinita’s losses are in the conference while Grove and Adair have played only one conference game.
Westville and Salina are 2-0 overall in the South Conference, Tahlequah and South Delaware County are 1-1 and Locust Grove is 0-2.
The Miami third- and fifth-grade teams are tied for second in their respective conferences while the first- and second-grade teams are fifth in their conferences.
Miami’s first through fifth grade teams play at Salina while the sixth graders meet Vinita again on Saturday, Sept. 2.
