KETCHUM — Commerce snapped a four-game losing streak with a 10-1 romp over Ketchum here Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Ashley Barton limited Ketchum to only one hit. She had no strikeouts and walked three.

The Lady Tigers broke out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. After yielding the only run to Ketchum, CHS scored two in the second and four more in the third.

Morgan Ballard had three singles to head up the Lady Tiger offense. Cali Wells doubled and Rhyane Hallett kicked in a single.

A single by Brown to lead off the Ketchum first was the Lady Warriors only hit.

Fairland 4, Commerce 0

Fairland’s Nikki Dingle struck out 12 and walked two while blanking the Lady Tigers on five hits.

Morgan Ballard had a double and single while Morgan Connell, Marisa Scott and Miriam Nino each had a single.

Fairland scored three runs in the third and tacked on a final tally in the fourth.

The Lady Owls had six hits and benefitted from six Commerce errors as well and six walks.

Kyndall Davis, Chelsey Dushane, Madison Stotts, Lilly Triplett, Alexis McGranahan and Dingle contributed a single each.
