MIAMI — Miami saw its five-game winning streak come to an end Monday, Aug. 15, when Grove rolled to a 12-2 victory at Turner Field.

“It was 3-2 Grove going into the top of the sixth and we made a couple of decisions defensively that they capitalized on,” Miami coach Lauren Strack said.

Miami led Claremore Sequoyah 2-0 through four innings in their game on Tuesday, Aug. 16 before play was suspended by rain.

It will be completed on Monday, Sept. 11 when the teams play in Miami, Strack said.

“The girls played much better yesterday (at Sequoyah),” she said. “That would be a great win. Sequoyah’s pitcher is tough.
