The Oklahoma Crew, an 8u Triple-A baseball team, finished its season with a 46-14 record.
The Crew, with players from Miami, Commerce, Afton and Ketchum, finished the season third in points in Oklahoma and 18th in the nation.
The team finished first in five tournaments, second once and third on four occasions. They played in tournaments in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The Crew was first in the U.S. Open finals this past weekend in Muskogee, going 4-0.
They beat the Oklahoma Heat 7-3 in the championship game.
That was the second time the Crew had defeated the Heat. They squeezed out an 8-6 victory in the opener.
The Crew also rolled 14-6 over the Pittsburg County Pride and the Red Oak Eagles, 14-6.
Members of the team included Adam Banker, Bryce Barnes, Grant Blundell, Trevor Henry, Cameran Herd, Landan Long, Colton Moss, Seth Pilkinton, Griffin Robinson, Carson Schertz and Aiden Victor.
Coaches were Bucky Barnes, Josh Schertz, Sam Banker and Cody Blundell.
The Crew finished third out of 26 teams in an 8U World Series tournament in Dallas.
The only team entered from Oklahoma, the Crew outscored the opposition 71-32 while posting a 6-2 record.
They went 7-2 and finished third in an 8u World Series in Bixby July 14-18, outscoring the opponents 86-35.
The staff expressed thanks to members of the community for its support during the season.
