Rainy weather has led to the postponement of several area events.
The 18th annual Fairland Lions Club Dr. Bill Goodman Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 22, has been pushed back to Saturday, May 6.
The tournament still will be played at Peoria Ridge Golf Course.
Miami High School’s District 4A-5 baseball double-header, in Tulsa against Webster High School have been rescheduled for Monday, April 23.
The Class B District 20 baseball tournament at Bluejacket will be completed Monday in Tulsa.
Rain forced the suspension of Thursday’s second game in the second inning with Regent Prep leading Braggs 2-0.
Regent still has to play the Chieftains, who lost to Braggs 15-5, then one and possibly two games are left to decide who moves on to regional play.
Action has been postponed until Monday, with games moved to Tulsa.
Northeastern A&M’s baseball games with Rose State Thursday were moved to Midwest City because of a wet field.
Friday’s softball games in Parsons, Kansas, against Labette Community College were cancelled.
Sunday’s Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference double-header here against Connors State College is still a go, but the start times are TBA.
