AFTON — Five runs in the final two innings helped Oklahoma Union notch a 12-10 baseball victory over Afton here Tuesday.

The game was tied at 3-3 after one inning only to have the Cougars get two runs each in the second and third frames.

Afton took an 8-7 lead with a five-run third then tacked on another run in the fifth.

The Eagles got only one run the rest of the way, in the bottom of the seventh.

Brett Hollon started the inning by getting hit by a pitch and scored on a single by Gabe Mustain.

The Cougars scored four runs in the sixth and one more in the seventh.

Mustain went 4-for-5 with three triples and four RBIs.

Jacob Barton contributed two singles while Zach Henry and Brett Fuser had a single each.

Jesse Walkingstick suffered the loss. He allowed 11 hits while striking out seven and walking six.
