FOYIL — Winning their third game in a row, the Bluejacket Chieftains rolled to a 16-2 baseball victory over Foyil here Tuesday.

The Chieftains (7-5) jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning then pushed it to 7-0 in the second and 11-0 in the third.

Foyil got two unearned runs in the bottom of the third, but Bluejacket created the final margin with four runs in the fourth.

Justin Herlan drove in five of the Chieftains runs with three singles.

Ryder Blackfox also had three hits, getting a triple, double and single.

Charles Spiegel, Justin Pape and James Walters had two singles each, and Johnny Estes added a base hit.

Pape, who was the winning pitcher, had five strikeouts and Blackfox added two.

Bluejacket is idle until Tuesday, when it travels to Welch.
