BLUEJACKET — Bluejacket rolled to a pair of wins over Foyil here Tuesday night.

The Class B No. 15 Lady Chieftains notched a 52-32 decision before the BHS boys rolled 58-33.

In the girls’ game, Bluejacket opened up a 14-11 lead in the first quarter then coasted into the break with a 25-23 advantage.

The Lady Chieftains (18-3) broke the game open with a 20-2 run in the third quarter.

Each team scored seven points in the final stanza.

Sophie Windle had 20 and Sidney Windle added 11 for Bluejacket.

Others scoring for the Lady Chieftains were Lydia Pipins with nine, Cameran Bluejacket with four, Laura Collins and Deedee Satterwhite with three each and Tori Anderson with two.

Foyil (5-12) received 11 from Kassidy West.

Boys: Bluejacket 58, Foyil 33

The Chieftains (10-12) limited Foyil to seven points in the first half.

Bluejacket turned an 11-2 first quarter lead into a 34-7 advantage at the half.

Foyil (3-13) held a 15-13 edge in the third period then each team scored 11 points over the final eight minutes.

Kawlan Rogers had 18, Justin Pape 16 and Ryder Blackfox 11 for the Chieftains.

Others scoring for Bluejacket were Jakob Adamson with eight, Coy McGlasson three and Johnny Estes two.

The games wrapped up the regular season for Bluejacket, which travels to Copan for the Class B, Area II, District 3 tournament.

The Chieftains face Shidler at 8 p.m. Friday. The winner moves on to face Copan in Saturday’s title game.

The BHS girls tackle either Shidler or Copan at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
