COLLINSVILLE — Miami went 2-1 during Tuesday’s District 5A-5 wrestling quad.

The Wardogs suffered a 66-12 loss to Collinsville, but bounced back to get a 48-15 win over Tulsa Memorial and a 54-30 decision against Tulsa Hale.

Results of the other matches were not available.

Keegan McKibben and Callan Cox went 3-0 on the day at 182 and 195, respectively. Both had two falls and a forfeit.

Brandon Sanko, Cooper Stone, Jordan Freeman, Issac Lacy, David Shelton and Jaydn Marshall were 2-1 while Tyler Griffith went 1-2.

Both of Stone and Marshall’s wins came by fall.

Miami’s only points against Collinsville came at 182, where McKibben pinned Brannon Jordan, and at 195, where Cox pinned Trent Brown.

Collinsville got five pins, two decisions and five forfeits in the dual.

Stone, Cox and Marshall all won by fall and Sanko, Freeman, Lacy, Shelton and McKibben had forfeit wins against Memorial.

Sanko, Stone, Lacy, Griffith, Shelton, McKibben and Marshall had pins against Hale. Freeman and Cox also had forfeit wins.

The Wardogs are idle until Tuesday, when they travel to Grove.
