MIAMI — Wins have not come easy for the Claremore Sequoyah or Miami basketball programs this season.

Both boys’ teams own two wins while MHS and Sequoyah’s girls have one win apiece.

Each hopes to improve on those totals Tuesday night at the Miami Activity Center.

Sequoyah was swept by Inola on Thursday, the boys falling 68-40 while the Lady Eagles suffered a 48-34 defeat.

One of the wins by the Sequoyah boys was a 52-24 decision against Wyandotte in the Adair Invitational last month.

Miami split games with Seneca on Thursday, they boys winning 40-38 while the Lady Wardogs fell 58-35.

Tuesday’s games kick off a stretch that will see Miami play six games in 12 days.

MHS travels to Verdigris on Friday then hosts Tulsa Green Country in a Saturday matinee.

Then the following week, Miami begins play in the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M High School Tournament with games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
