MIAMI — It wasn’t as flashy as his three previous performances at Buffalo Run Casino, but Ivan Baranchyk kept his record perfect.

Baranchyk ground out a unanimous decision over stubborn Wilberth Lopez in a 10-round co-main event Saturday night at Buffalo Run Casino.

Baranchyk landed almost a dozen shots to the head of Lopez, a southpaw, who never went down.

However, it was Baranchyk who went down in the third round.

He got up and went to work, dominating the fight the rest of the way.

“I know once punch and no see, then went down,” said the Russian junior welterweight.

That was the first time as a pro that Baranchyk had been knocked down.

“It’s good opponent,” he said. “It was good experience.”

Judges Jerry Griffin and Sarah Atwood scored it 98-91 and Henry Ellick had Baranchyk winning 97-92.
