MIAMI — Concluding the home portion of the regular volleyball season Monday, the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Lady Norse overcame a loss in the first game to earn a 3-1 victory over the Allen (Kansas) Community College Red Devils in the Glen Wolfe Student Activity Center.
With the victory the Lady Norse are 5-5 on the season while the Red Devils plummet to 5-20 overall.
The Red Devils started the best of five match with a 25-23 win before the Lady Norse won by 25-22, 25-21 and 25-18 scores.
NEO travels to Nellis Hall on the campus of Coffeyville (Kansas) Community College at 6:30 p.m. next Monday for a match with the No. 6 ranked Red Ravens. Coffeyville is 32-1 on the season.
The Lady Norse conclude the regular season at 6 p.m. on Nov. 24 with a District 0 match against Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. The Comets are 3-6 in district action and 10-11 overall while the Lady Norse are 1-3 in district play.
NEO travels to St. Louis, Missouri, Nov. 4-5, for the Division II District 0 Tournament in the Florissant Valley Community College gymnasium. Missouri schools in Division II Region 16 include Cottey, East Central Community College, MCC-Longview, St. Louis Community College and Wentworth Military Academy.
