Terry Schrader of Miami died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in Grove after an illness. He was 64.

Mr. Schrader was born Oct. 3, 1944, in Stella, Mo., to Chester and Hazel L. (Banks) Schrader. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and had lived in Miami since 1992, moving from Texas.

He had worked at Ken's Farm and Home for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Miami.

Mr. Schrader was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clint Schrader and Teddy Schrader.

He married Phyllis Louise (Koehn) on May 21, 1966, in Mullinville, Kan. She survives, of the home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Bobby Key officiating. Pallbearers will be Ken Hunsperger, Arthur Anderson, Tommy Burr, Dennis Coberley, Richard Dickinson, Ted Koehn and Richard Bridges.

Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
