Melva Cordelia Lalicker died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Duncan Regional Medical Center. She was 102.

Mrs. Lalicker was born June 7, 1905, in Kingfisher County to Walker Simeon and Sarah Florence (Perkins) Martin. She lived in the Welch area for many years before moving to the Duncan are to be close to her family.

She was a homemaker and a member of Maybelle Baptist Church.

She married Amos Monroe Lalicker on Aug. 3, 1921, in Vinita. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded in death by one son, her parents, two brothers, four sisters and one grandson.

Survivors include four grandchildren and their spouses, Junior and Rita Lalicker and Randy Lalicker, all of Enid, Judy and Brad Price of Marlow and Mary and Gene Turpin of Rocky Mountain, Mo.; one stepgrandson, LeRoy Kohen of Enid, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Welch Cemetery with the Rev. Lindy Leforce officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch.
