Mary Aline Leggett of Commerce died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. She was 50.

Mrs. Leggett was born Aug. 14, 198, in El Dorado, Kan. She lived in Commerce for 33 years, moving from Wichita, Kan.

She worked for Baggcraft and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Commerce.

She married Kenneth L. Leggett Jr. on July 14, 1978, in Miami. He survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include her foster parents, Kenneth and Louise Lovin; one son, Sgt. Jeffery J. Leggett of Stillwater; three daughters, Kimberly C. Leggett and Melody D. Leggett, both of Commerce and Jennifer M. Byrd of Parsons, Kan.; one sister, Roberta Gualtier, and three grandchildren, Harmony Michelle Leggett, Charles Edward Dennison and Holly Byrd.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God in Commerce. The Rev. Howie Moss will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.

Pallbearers will be Larry Callison, Lee Loftin, Michael Payton, Jeff Leggett, Chuck Dennison and Timothy Loftin.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
