Erma Nadine Workman of Miami passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. She was 89 years of age.
Erma was born Feb. 24, 1918, to John Wesley and Myrtle Ora (Ferguson) Daniels in Webb City, Mo. She moved from Baxter Springs, Kan., to Miami in 1951.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant at B.F. Goodrich for twenty-five years and retired in 1982. She also worked for four years for the Department of Health and Human Services. She was Past Matron, District Deputy and Grand Representative of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Miami.
She married Frank Workman on Jan. 7, 1940, and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Russell Clifft.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeannie Workman of Miami, OK, Gerry K. Farrow of Terlton, OK, and Janis J. Clifft of Norman, OK; five grandchildren, Judy Toothman, Rocky Farrow, Stoney Farrow, Tammie Nelson and Mike Passini, and four great-grandchildren, Nathan Toothman, Randa Toothman, Siarrah Allen and Michael Passini.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami and the Rev. Dale Neal will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Bill Wilmoth, Dale Neal, Rocky Farrow, Nathan Toothman, Mike Passini and Michael Passini.
Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami, OK.
