Mace Franklin Campbell of Claremore, formerly of Tulsa, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the Inola Health Care Center in Inola, He was 72.
Mr. Campbell was born Sept. 5, 1934, to Benjamin Franklin and Lucille (Pores) Campbell in Canadian. He served with the Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked as a machinist for C.E. Valco in Tulsa for 10 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Dowell of Claremore, Ruby Ann Johnson of Tulsa, Sara Jean Bieber of Philadelphia; two sons, Jerry Mace Campbell of Commerce and Terry Ray Campbell, 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
A graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Hickory Grove Cemetery west of Grove. Pallbearers will be Donnie Dowell, Chase Dowell, Michael Benjamin, Terry Ray Campbell II, Jerry Campbell Jr. and Larry Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Marts, Justin Marts and Allen Bowers. Military Rites will be conducted by the Missouri National Guard Bravo Team from Joplin. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm today atthe Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
